Creating an Effective Trade Show
Last month, one of my business colleague organized a trade show exhibition. It is the largest computer exhibition in 2009. I took myself to see and visit the exhibition. It’s really fantastic! It’s so crowded and very interesting! Lots of visitors coming, and of course many of them were recorded for making transactions.
I met with one personnel as a crew of those Event’s Organizer. Indeed they have acquired sufficient experience in running events, from small to large-scale of exhibitions. I also asked about some of their successful recipe. And fortunately, he gave me a few tips that we might share here. Here are some tips to organize an exhibition:
Choose a Location with Higher Traffic Density
Be sure to look at the basic plan before you choose your place. Pedestrian traffic will be most crowded in certain areas of the trade show area. Find a location near the entrance, food stalls, toilets, seminar room, or adjacent to the main exhibition participants. Try to avoid dead-end alley, loading docks, poles are blocking the view, or low traffic areas other.
Pleasant Feelings
Make sure that the people who visited the exhibition booth design could experience your product or service. Let them touch, see, feel, hear or taste it. Are you selling decorative pillows? Display them with the appropriate settings, such like on table covers and provide examples that can be held by the buyer. Did you develop a package of new software? Make sure that some computer terminals for visitors free trial.
Interesting Booth Design
Make a trade show exhibits that has decoration that is special nuances that different. If decoration of booth exhibition design is a move away, then it makes visitors are not interested to come.
For example, add the following items:
It means, every element that should be presented or display can be a clearly visualization of the initial objectives.
Make Simple
Do not jazz up a booth with too many pictures. A large image can be seen from afar may be more widespread than a few small images. A simple slogan that describe your business can say more than a lot of writing at length.
Useful Tricks
Deception and prizes can also drive traffic of visitors to your booth. Hold a contest; do product demonstrations in a loud voice; gift candy; employ artisans offer massage and rubbing their back for free, for examples. Make sure that these plots fit with your corporate image and feelings of your customers.
I think some of those tips are good ideas and very useful. And it aims to get attention from visitors, so at least they are interested in searching for information, come to the booth and finally making a transaction.
